We grind oats to flour and make waffles. It takes patience but it works really well. If youo have bulk grains, and the power goes out, a solar oven and your back in business. We make Ezekiel Bread and it is perfect for grinding whole grains for the bread mixture. Grind your own corn bread meal, works great.

I have been impressed with how durable this mill is. I like to make my own bread and the quality of this mill gives me very fine, excellent flour. We bought it for emergencies but I find my kids think it is fun to use, so we have ended up milling our flour with it nearly every week. It does take a little bit of work, but that's what the kids are for, right? Anyway, great mill.

The picture makes this look bulky or heavy I think, but it is actually pretty light. Be ready to mark up a section of your counter though installing it.

This can help create the Ezekial bread I've been wanting to make. I'm glad it is available in a hand crank! Maybe the Ready Store will sell Ezekial mix one day in a value bucket?

Great little grinder and much more affordable than other ones and still works well. I use this primarily to grind what and sometimes corn for polenta/grits. Havent had an issue yet. Takes a little muscle to use, but well worth having over a battery power or electric one that will not be useable if there is no power or battery life left.

I was a little worried when I got this but was just wanting a good mill to have as a backup. This will never grind wheat down far enought to make excellent cake flour in my opinion but for making pancakes, waffles, bannock, or any other breads it's great. Does take time, it's not a fast grinder.

This grain mill is available from competitors websites for almost $30 less....however, this is a high-quality mill that will be crucial for when the power goes out. Mill your grains twice for a finer flour.

I just recieved my mill today and when I took it out of the package and began to read the instructions I am not very sure that this is worth the price. The instructions say that it cannot grind corn or beans and I truly am not wanting to have to buy another grinder. I am just trying to get started on all my prepping and am dissapointed that I paid way more for this than what I found on another site for half the price after I ordered this product. I guess I will have to wait and see if it will work better than the directions seem to say.

Compact & Light Weight | Extremely Versatile | Sturdy Construction

Don’t Be Inconvenienced by Your Preparations
This mill is compact, light weight, and easy to store. Feel Confident and Secure
This hand grain mill is the best on the market today. Get Your Money’s Worth
Grind all your favorite foods such as wheat, rice, oats, barley, peppercorns, and much more! Keep Food Storage Economical
Storing grains in their freshest form is the least expensive and tastiest way to store food. Stocking up on canned foods and buckets of fresh grains are just the first part of emergency preparedness. A bag of wheat won’t do your family much good if you have nothing to mill it with. That’s why The Ready Store is offering this Hand-Powered Grain Mill. Buying wheat in its original form is certainly the less expensive way to build your food storage and after tasting breads, pastas, and cereals with freshly milled wheat flour, you may never want to go back! The hand-powered grain mill is perfect for your emergency supplies because a power outage won’t stop this Mill from giving you the ingredients to feed your family.

The mill is durable, lightweight, and very efficient—it’s the best hand grain mill on the market today. This wheat grinder is made with cone shaped precision grinding burrs that are made of hardened steel and are self-aligning, so it is precise and nearly indestructible. You can mount your mill to any counter top using the positive clamping screw, then place your wheat, rice, oats, barley etc in the hopper and grind away. Because of it’s small size (only 13” tall) and lightweight, it will fit easily amongst your other emergency supplies ready to use whenever you need it.

Our customers enjoy the benefit of being prepared without the hassle of preparing and packaging foods themselves.
"We have a bunch of freeze dried cans and pouches and regular canned goods as well as #10 cans for longer storage. We have water, emergency preparedness and other storage items. Your store is keeping us well supplied!" - Damayanty Vasquez
