  When it comes to staples like rice and stuff, I don't understand why people buy it in #10 cans, it's so cheap to buy a huge bag. You can cheaply and easily put them in these bag and they will be just as good.

  I purchased 5lb bags of sugar, flour, box of salt, pepper, Baking soda, ect. Packed everything in these bags within 6 gal buckets with gamma lids. I put together 4 buckets to be able to share with unprepared people in an emergency. I know it'll will stay good for a long time thanks to the mylar bags and oxygen asorbers. Thanks for selling them together as a set.

  This is the route I go when it comes to food storage. Yes you can buy #10 cans of rice, wheat, flour etc. but they are expensive and harder to store. With these bag/absorber combos, you can do it yourself and make them easier to store by laying them on their side. You can get a 30lb bag of rice for about $20 and 2-3 of these bags will store it all. 30lbs of rice in #10 cans would be a lot more money. I use these for fruits, spices etc too, because you can cut the bags to size as well.
