November 6th, 2009 at 12:11 pmHave about a 4 week supply of MREs and Freeze Dried food for 4 people through The Ready Store. As finances permit slowly trying to build up to 1 year supply for 2 sites for 4 people. Winning the sampler would help. Must be ready in case of diaster plus having long term food storage is good famine insurance.

November 6th, 2009 at 1:36 pmI am looking forward to winning anything, mainly cause I really need it this week. Last weekend Margie came up to me and proudly announced she bought me a bomb shelter for my birthday. Something we could bury in our back yard and hide out in if there is some calamity.
I can honestly say I was excited. Even though she told me it was used,I was ok with it as long as no one or nothing had died in it. Well, wednesday came and here pulls this big old delivery truck and there it is, blue plastic, about 3 ft square and about 7 feet tall. The little vent on the white roof shoulda tipped her off, but it didn’t. Especially when she drags me inside and is amazed there isnt a kitchen. So she won’t listen to me and commences to putting our freeze dried food in the “storage compartment” Remember me saying nothing had died in it? Well, maybe nothing had died in it, but something came a parked a load of ugly in it, cause it stank.
Anyway, the blue water dye won’t come off the cans and I am NOT eating them knowing where they been and all. Please send more.

These bars have to be so high on the “to buy” list. For a grab and go or stay in place shelter. It pretty much takes care of keeping you going with the addition of the water and shelter. I would love to win this.
