My bottled water kept leaking
Doesn't taste as good as bottled water, but I have been told it will last a lot longer. Hopefully that is the case. I like that the pouches are flexible and still won't pop or leak. They work great in my 72 hours kit. My bottle water kept leaking.
Can't Beat These Water Pouches
You can't go wrong with a 5 year shelf life in regards to drinking water. And with 64 water pouches a box, the price is excellent. These water pouches are one of the most convenient forms of water storage. I'd recommend them to anybody. Thanks for carrying such a fantastic product.
Must have for emergencies preparedness
This product is great for storing in your bug out bags. Me and my wife split one box into both of our packs. I don't have to worry about the packs breaking because they are very durable. Easy to store and great knowing that you have a source of immediate water in your packs.
Perfect for emergency packs
This is a great product to add to your emergency bags. The packs are small and very durable.
These are so awesome! Great tough quality. I'd give it 5 stars, but right now there is a glitch and I cannot click them. I've beat some pouches up pretty good before and they will not break in your backpack!
From The Ready Store
Sorry Daniele, we will take a look into that bug!
Great way to ration.
I think these water pouches are great. They are easier to store and transport than bottles. Also, I really like the fact that in case of a flood, you do not have to worry about your water being contaminated by seepage.
Don't forget your pets!
I have purchased several of these cases already. I decided to put several packs in my pet's BOB so I know if something happens, they will have fresh water as well.
A definite MUST have for your bug out bag!
Bought a case to be split into three bug out bags. They seem really durable, and the price is very good! It's great that I don't have to worry about rotating the water stock for five years. I hadn't realized that bottled water had such a short shelf life compared to these and other water products from the Ready Store. Can't got wrong!
Good for first aid kit
I recently took a class on first aid. I ended up using what I was taught on my mother when she skinned her elbow. The conclusion I came to was I need alcohol wipes and water to flush out any excess debris. These, or any other portable water containers, would do the trick.
Great size, packaging, and shelf life.
I bought these for our bug-out packs. I was a little reluctant on how these will withstand some type of abuse inside the packs, but I really like the packaging, great shelf life. Split the box with four packs. Will order another box while I hope I can get the 250gal tank later.
Love these little packets. I can place these anywhere ensuring I always have some drinking water handy. In addition, they take up very little space!
Great for camping/boating
These are great to stockpile as they taste great and last for a long time. Ive drank some that were expired 5 years and they still were fine. You save money buying in bulk too. I keep these in my car, my wife's car, our boats and in our storage because you just never know. These are great too because the packages are durable too.
I received these water pouches as part of an emergency food supply kit. They are a very convenient size and shape to add into any style of emergency kit you might make. You do not have to worry about them rusting or taking on contaminated water like you do for caned or bottled water. Also makes rationing easier.
I love these! I keep some stashed in the car & you don't even know they are there! My kids also think these are cool to take camping because they are light enough they can carry in their own bags!
Nice to have water on hand
You would hope you would never need this. But if you do it will be there and ready to serve.
The pouches are heavy duty and fit into packs just right.
JUST THE RIGHT SIZE TO AVOID WASTE.
I think these pouches are an important part of any emergency supplies along with larger water storage containers. These handy pouches will fit easily in a bug-out bag, a purse, attache case or child's school backpack - just in case...
Great for my emergency kit
I bought these for my emergency kit and they have worked great. I heard that bottled water only lasts for like a year so I thought 5 years was awesome for these. The pouches are a little hard to open and the water tastes like it has been boiled. But I used them on a camping trip and for an emergency they will work perfect, just don't expect Dasani water or whatever.
Great for emergencies
While these water pouches don't hold a lot of water, they are very convenient to use. Because they are in pouches, it makes them much easier to stuff into a backpack, glove or utility compartment in your car, etc. This is harder to do with canned or bottled water. If you are looking to store water at home, canned or bottled is better for the price, but if you need some water that is very convenient when on the go, these water pouches are perfect.
PUT POUCHES EVERYWARE
very easy to keep a couple of pouches in every nook and hole that you can find. place them and forget them till needed. also have some in car, in B.O.B, ETC
bags leak if mishandled, had several leaking when arrived.
Perfect for bug out bags!
Bought a case and split between three bug out bags. No matter what, water will make your bag heavy, however I like that they are packaged in smaller portions so you can spread the weight out to different areas of your bag. My bug out bag was in my vehicle and the water froze, but none of them have burst open from being frozen so that's a relief.
Handles Extreme Environment
We have a lot of rough winters here and bought these for my vehicles in case someone got stuck in a snow drift for an extended period of time. It was the only emergency water I ever had that didn't burst from freezing. Packs were very durable and lasted through five winters with no leaks.
If you want to pay $35 for 2 gallons of water then you go right ahead.
*From The Ready Store: Neil, thanks for taking the time to leave a review on our site. While I can understand the thought that paying anything more than a couple pennies for water is absurd I think it is important to better understand this product to realize why it is not just your typical tap water. This emergency water has a preserver in it that enables it to be safe for consumption for 5 years. Also these are individually packaged in strong pouches for portability, the price would be a lot amount cheaper if the water came in one large pouch instead of 64 packages.
