Water is vital to all your body's most important functions, so having some around means you'll stay healthy in any emergency! Make Emergency Preparedness Convenient
5 year shelf life means less worry about rotating water supplies!
The US Coast Guard uses these Datrex Pouches because they are conveniently packaged in the exact amount of water recommended by The Red Cross for each meal—4.227 oz. The Ready Store is keeping you prepared with this case of 64 pre-rationed Datrex Water Pouches. Your body loses on average 2.5 liters of water everyday (or 2/3 of a gallon), but can handle only a loss of about 10-22% of its water weight (which can happen at around 3 days with no water) before it becomes fatal. Secure your family’s health now by obtaining a fresh water supply for emergencies like earthquakes, violent storms, or contaminated public water supplies!
Our customers enjoy the benefit of being prepared without the hassle of preparing and packaging foods themselves.

"We have a bunch of freeze dried cans and pouches and regular canned goods as well as #10 cans for longer storage. We have water, emergency preparedness and other storage items. Your store is keeping us well supplied!"

- Damayanty Vasquez

In addition to this recent events have opened our eyes to the responsibility we have ourselves to ensure our family’s safety and security in the midst of disaster:

“Hurricane Katrina brought the need for preparedness to the foreground in 2005. The Red Cross recognizes the need to take that to the next step, which is teaching people to care for themselves and others in a disaster.”

--Richard Patton

"We have a lot of rough winters here and bought these for my vehicles in case someone got stuck in a snow drift for an extended period of time. It was the only emergency water I ever had that didn't burst from freezing. Packs were very durable and lasted through five winters with no leaks."

Pros: Long Shelf-Life, Easily Portable, Very Durable

"If you want to pay $35 for 2 gallons of water then you go right ahead.

*From The Ready Store: Neil, thanks for taking the time to leave a review on our site. While I can understand the thought that paying anything more than a couple pennies for water is absurd I think it is important to better understand this product to realize why it is not just your typical tap water. This emergency water has a preserver in it that enables it to be safe for consumption for 5 years. Also these are individually packaged in strong pouches for portability, the price would be a lot amount cheaper if the water came in one large pouch instead of 64 packages. "

Pros: Long Shelf-Life
Cons: High Price

"You can't go wrong with a 5 year shelf life in regards to drinking water. And with 64 water pouches a box, the price is excellent. These water pouches are one of the most convenient forms of water storage. I'd recommend them to anybody. Thanks for carrying such a fantastic product."

Pros: Long Shelf-Life, Easily Portable, High Quality, Low Price, Very Durable, Light Weight, High Volume/Capacity, Very Flexible, Extremely Convenient, Small Size, High Nutrition

"Doesn't taste as good as bottled water, but I have been told it will last a lot longer. Hopefully that is the case. I like that the pouches are flexible and still won't pop or leak. They work great in my 72 hours kit. My bottle water kept leaking. "

Pros: Long Shelf-Life

"I bought these for my emergency kit and they have worked great. I heard that bottled water only lasts for like a year so I thought 5 years was awesome for these. The pouches are a little hard to open and the water tastes like it has been boiled. But I used them on a camping trip and for an emergency they will work perfect, just don't expect Dasani water or whatever."

Pros: Long Shelf-Life, Easily Portable, High Quality, Very Durable, High Nutrition, High Calories
