"Over the years I've used tube tents on a number of occasions. As an emergency shelter in a grab and go they are a great choice. Hung on tightly strung shock cord, they can be held in shape by your mats or bags. Roll up one end and leave a hole at the top, roll up the other end and leave a hole at the bottom. You'll get adequate air flow and stay dry in a down pour. Just add some shock cord and a dozen clothes pins to your grab bag to make set up and adjustments easy."

"Ummm . . . I guess it will keep you out of the sun, but if it was windy or raining it would not work so well. Also, it was hard to set up and keep in the right shape."
