    Pros:
*Solid and full tang (obviously from the picture)
*Guard/Stop about 1/3 inch on each edge which works as a jimping
*Angled spine saw (one side has longer grooves for more possible uses)
    *Armor/Hide piercing tip
*Two strapping points so you could spear mount it, it would probably make a good pig sticker
**Gap between blade and stop adds some utility (I used it to open a bucket)
You cant beat the price for a use and throw knife

    Cons:
*It’s made from cheaper 440B Stainless, I was hoping for at least 440C
*The case is serviceable but that’s about where it stops but it does have bottom rivet holes for leg strapping
*The fire starter is a bit stumpy and falls out of the case
*It comes dull and takes an edge slowly (not from hardness). I’m inclined to think it will wear easily.

It shouldn’t be used as a combat knife or an everyday use knife, but it is great for a backup and general utility. I’ll probably buy a couple more for my sons.

Build a shelter. If you are in a desert environment, try to build an underground shade shelter to avoid prolonged sun exposure (obviously only for hot climates) so you can travel more comfortably in cooler temperatures (avoid sweating).  Try to use resources around you like sage brush and other plants.  Stay covered, don't remove clothing to ...

      • Survival Necessities: Knives

Create a shelter If it’s going to rain or the sun is sapping your energy, you can use your knife to cut large bushy branches off of a tree. Lean these branches against a trunk or fallen log to make an impromptu lean-to shelter shielding you from the elements. Call attention to search parties Most blades when clean can reflect a good deal of light. If you find yourself without your signaling mirror wipe it clean and practice reflecting light on targets. Once you feel good about your aim use the standard SOS signal of 3 short flashes, 3 long flashes, followed by 3 short flashes towards the rescue teams to get their attention. Read More

Strong and dependable
Constructed of 440 steel, this hunting knife has no moving parts to break. Survival Knife
Includes magnesium fire starter and lanyard cord that could be used in survival situations. Easy to Carry
The knife's sheath makes it easy to carry where ever you may go. Having a knife that you can rely on and you know won't be falling apart in an emergency or in the backcountry is very important. Constructed of 440 steel - a steel known as being high grade cutlery steel - this solid blade knife is durable and will not be falling apart any time soon.

It can be extremely frustrating to have a knife fall apart when you need it. Many knifes have moving parts that eventually wear out and brake down, but this solid blade knife will be around when you need it. Knife includes green rope laced around the handle, but you can also customize your knife with paracord or any other material.
